TMZ today…
Michael Jackson: Do You Want Fries With That?
Faye told cops, “He was scared to death because AEG was funding everything. He said he would have to work at McDonalds if he didn’t do these shows.”

Two gentlemen

George A. Cohon, OC, O.Ont (born April 19, 1937) is an American-born Canadian businessman who is the founder and senior chairman ofMcDonald’s of Canada and McDonald’s of Russia.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, he received a B.Sc. from Drake University and a Juris Doctor degree from the Northwestern University School of Law. He practiced corporate law in Chicago from 1961 through 1967. In 1967 he moved to Toronto, Ontario, as the licensee of McDonald’s Corporation for Eastern Canada. In 1971, he became chairman, president and chief executive officer of McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada.
He was involved in opening McDonald’s in the former Soviet Union with the first restaurant opening in Moscow in 1990.
The first restaurant was at the time McDonald’s biggest, and was opened with minimal involvement from the U.S. parent company, for political reasons. It accepted only Russian rubles, not hard currency, and in the early days, the line to enter the restaurant could be several hours long. Due to Soviet supply shortages, the company created its own supply chain in the Soviet Union, including farms and packaging. At the 1991 G7 Summit in London,Canadian Prime Minister Brian Mulroney (Cohon’s personal friend) personally complained to Mikhail Gorbachev about the difficulties Cohon was experiencing doing business in the Soviet Union.[1]
He is the founder of Ronald McDonald House Charities, which provides accommodation for families whose children are receiving medical treatment, in Canada and in Russia.
He is a member of the board of directors of McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada Limited, Royal Bank of Canada and Astral Media Inc. He was a member of Board of Governors of York University between 1982 and 1995.
He became a Canadian citizen in 1975. He was awarded the Order of Ontario in 2000. In 1987 he was made a Member of the Order of Canadaand was promoted to Officer in 1992.
He wrote an auto-biography, To Russia With Fries. His son, Mark Cohon, is the Canadian Football League’s 12th commissioner.
His business card can be redeemed for a free Big Mac at any McDonald’s location in Canada and Russia.

And here is his son also known as Coca-Cola Kid.

Craig Cohon chairs the Board at Worn Again and is Vice Chairman of Cirque du Soleil Russia. Prior to this he spent 8 years owning and running his own international development strategic advisor firm that built businesses in India and Africa. This included a modern clean energy enterprise with BP for rural Indian women.
Previously Craig had a 14-year executive-level career at Coca-Cola Company. He started their operations in Soviet Union in 1990 and lived in Moscow for 4 years. He ran marketing in Northern Europe and the former Soviet Union, and was the Coca-Cola brand director worldwide. He served as director of Learning Strategy for three years and in 2000 served as deputy division president for the Northwest Europe Division.
In 1993, Cohon received an Honorary Doctorate of Economics from Moscow International University. In 2000, the World Economic Forum named him “A Global Leader for Tomorrow.” Cohon earned his BA in liberal arts at the University of Western Ontario. Craig is an avid international traveler and investor and Chairman of Worn Again in London and serves on many charitable boards. He has two great children. He splits his time between Moscow, Stockholm, Montreal and London.

Hello!!! There is interesting information (special thanks to Neo). What do you think about it?

The Evil Genius Of The Latest TMZ Brand Extension

To Angelenos, there can be no more horrifying news than the launch of yet another tour-bus franchise targeting celebrity hotspots has arrived to further clutter their already over-trafficked streets. But to media mavens, TMZ’s decision to enter this business is just pure brilliance.

Who better than America’s most beloved star stalkers to provide tourists with a real-time opportunity to invade the privacy of the glitterati, courtesy of a new deal with Starline Tours. The tour will patrol the landmarks of Hollywood’s so-called Thirty Mile Zone, the area that 0.002% of TMZ’s fans know provided the acronym that inspired the company’s name.

The buses will be specially “customized,” and though TMZ doesn’t specify how exactly, there’s some logical conclusions to be drawn. Perhaps there’s a crane that can hoist passengers over those pesky eight-foot hedges that obscure the view into Jennifer Aniston’s living room.

The buses will even come equipped with TV screens that pipe in TMZ footage relevant to whatever its passengers are witnessing. There’s even the prospect they can become part of the action, TMZ warns: “The tour guides, armed with cameras, could…encounter celebrities and use state of the art technology to send the footage directly back to the TMZ newsroom.”

Sounds like a joke, but it turns out that Starline tourists were actually right outside the gates of Michael Jackson’s estate the day he died.

Of course, the tour only tips the iceberg of the offline brand extensions TMZ could fund to broaden its influence: plastic-surgery clinics, rehab facilities, bail-bonds agencies. Or maybe it’s best to start smaller, like some branded Big Gulp-sized cozies that Harvey Levin could promote on the air himself considering he always seems to be sipping some concoction one can only presume is Paris Hilton’s liquefied soul.

The new fleet hits the streets on May 1.

It’s amazing how time there were these tourists. Or maybe it was a planned part of the tour?

Criss Angel receives the Magical Wish Maker of the Year Award from the Make-A-Wish Foundation at Bali Hai Golf Center on May 19, 2010.

Criss revealed that he will start his own Believe Anything Is Possible for Children Foundation this year to fund continuing Make-A-Wish activities.

He said.

“These children make me smile from ear to ear and teach me that love, health and happiness are the most important things in life.”

“I meet a child, and neither I nor they know how long they have on Earth. When I was broke and just had a dream, I always thought fame and money was the answer. But it means nothing — it’s shallow and has no depth once you meet these kids. This is the important work to do quietly and behind the scenes. When you achieve your dream, you have to use what comes with it to help these children. I am so grateful I was raised in a family with a lot of love.”

“Success for me here means the love that comes from the kids. It grounds me. This work has become most important in my life. The kids think that I’m fulfilling their last wishes and doing them a favor. But in fact they do more for me than I could ever do for them. There is no price on that because you can’t buy that.”

“Caring about these kids has become my priority. Anything I can do for my fellow citizens young or old I will do out of love.”

In recent weeks, as we have reported here at Vegas DeLuxe, the star of Cirque du Soleil’s Believe at the Luxor has been presented with several international magic awards recognizing him not only as multi-time Magician of the Year and Magician of the Decade but also Magician of the Century. Just days before the Make-A-Wish presentation, he also was given the Innovention Award for his contributions in changing the world of magic.

The Man (duet Michael Jackson with Paul McСartney – 1983)

There’s a man
Who plays the game of life so well
Ooh, there’s such a man
His thoughts you can never tell

Ooh and it’s just the way he thought it would be
‘Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs, he kicks then he rolls up his sleeves
I’m alive and I’m here forever, this is the man

And it’s just the way he thought it would be
‘Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs, and kicks and rolls up his sleeves
I’m alive and I’m here forever, this is the man

There’s a man
Everybody thought they knew
Ooh, there’s such a man
He’s not like me and you

Ooh and it’s just the way she thought it would be
As he says, something has happened to me
Then he laughs, he kicks and rolls up his sleeves
I’m alive and I’m here forever, this is the man

And it’s just the way he thought it would be
‘Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs as he rolls up his sleeves
I’m alive and I’m here forever, this is the man

Did you know this man can do anything?
Ooh, there’s such a man
I wish that we could bring

Ooh and it’s just the way he thought it would be
‘Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs, he kicks and rolls up his sleeves
I’m alive and I’m here forever, this is the man

And it’s just the way he thought it would be
‘Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs, he kicks and rolls up his sleeves
I’m alive and I’m here forever, this is the man

This is the man, ooh yeah
This is the man
This is the man
